Final painting for my Digital Rendering class. This is a painting of my cat, Emi, who now resides at my parent's house. It is based off of yet another photograph I took years ago and though "hm, I could paint this someday." And now I have.

Photoshop, ~ 3 1/2 hours. (speedpaint ftw.)

Prints are Available $10 for an 8x10". Note me if you're interested.

Yeah, it is not really detailed at all; very loose strokes, but you know.... that's okay. It got done, anyway. And I think it looks pretty good. :P

Wow, I didn't realize this wasn't a photograph at first either! That's amazing! I'm in awe of people who can produce such beautiful art in general, none the less who are able to crank something out in a few hours O.o Excellent work! I also might have to consider getting a print of this... your kitty looks a lot like my boyfriend's cat! That and I'm sure it'd be cool to say,"not to mention this was done by a friend I knew growing up ;) "
