Final painting for my Digital Rendering class. This is a painting of my cat, Emi, who now resides at my parent's house. It is based off of yet another photograph I took years ago and though "hm, I could paint this someday." And now I have.
Photoshop, ~ 3 1/2 hours. (speedpaint ftw.)
Prints are Available $10 for an 8x10". Note me if you're interested.

Wow, I didn't realize this wasn't a photograph at first either! That's amazing! I'm in awe of people who can produce such beautiful art in general, none the less who are able to crank something out in a few hours O.o Excellent work! I also might have to consider getting a print of this... your kitty looks a lot like my boyfriend's cat! That and I'm sure it'd be cool to say,"not to mention this was done by a friend I knew growing up "
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
