And finally we have another Avatar fanart. This one, obviously, is Zuko.
Zuko's my favorite character, but he whined and complained the entire time I was working on this. D: It took forever to get the right pose for him (I eventually ended up watching "Zuko Alone" several times for ideas), and even the coloring took far longer than it normally would. Then of course I kept getting ideas for drabbles while I was working. Bah.
He looks a little younger than he should (probably because of his scruffy hair) and I took a few liberties with his costume... but I think it did come out pretty well. Swords are a pain to color.
Ah well. Zuko! In all his angsty glory. Aang will be next, followed by Katara.
Zuko is (c) Michael Dante Dimartino, Bryan Konietzko, and Nickelodeon.
Art done in Photoshop CS2.
Thanks. I enjoy doing the stained glass (although once I'm done with the four benders I'll probably be a bit sick of it, ) it's nice and complex and I get to play with colors.
I should see if I can get the same effect using actual stained glass sometime...
Wow that's a cool image. That has to be one of cutest images of Zuko I've seen. I like the way he came out. Looking younger like that kind of adds to the cuteness of the image and that stained glass is amazing. I have to give you props for the time you spent doing that. This is definately worthy of a fav.

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
