So, dA has finally changed its policy and allowed name changes! I'm really excited as I've been wanting to set up another account for years.

I will likely be following everyone and switching the account name... as soon as I figure out a viable alternative. Because, while professional, no one (least of all me) wants to force people to type in BethZyglowicz.deviantart.com. I like my last name, it's cool, but it is making things difficult for me in terms of branding. My closest friends don't have any idea how to spell my last name; I'm not going to force it on everyone else.

That aside, some announcements! Once again I will be at GenCon in the Art Show from August 16-19 in Indianapolis. I'm gearing up into con preparation in between other projects, making masks and starting to inventory and order prints.

Here's where you guys come in: Let me know if there are prints or masks you really want to see made available! I order high-quality prints on archival paper, which mostly means that I can't afford to make prints of everything. I try to go with the most popular pieces. But I don't know what people really want to see available unless you tell me.

Finally, a bit of unexpected news: I am working on re-starting Parallel Parchment as an ongoing comic. It's a big project that I'm mostly squeezing in between other work, and right now I'm mostly in the brainstorming and plotting stages. If all goes well, I'd like to re-launch it in January 2013, which would be about 10 years exactly since I came up with the idea. This is still tentative, and if something huge happens later in the year it could derail that timing, but that's my current goal. If there's interest, I'll post concept sketches and art as I develop the story.

I know some people are really attached to Parallel Parchment, so if you've been waiting forever in the vain hope it will continue, you'll finally get your wish.
